Nadu Jute Plant Hanger — Handwoven in Bangladesh

A braided natural jute plant hanger, 37” / 94cm from loop to tassel. Finished with wooden bead detailing at the cradle and a hand-knotted jute tassel at the base. Designed to hold a standard nursery pot or the Naiya Jute Basket (sold separately). Available as a Single or Set of 2.

Why This Hanger, Not Another

A plant hanger is a simple object — but the difference between a generic cord hanger and the Nadu is in the details. Braided jute rather than twisted rope gives it a denser, more considered texture. Wooden beads at the cradle add a handcrafted quality that reads as intentional. The hand-knotted tassel at the base finishes the piece as décor, not just hardware. The result is a hanger that looks as good empty as it does with a plant in it.

Why Jute?

Jute is one of the most sustainable natural fibers available — fast-growing, pesticide-free, and fully biodegradable. Unlike synthetic cord hangers that shed microplastics over time, a jute hanger returns to the earth cleanly at the end of its life. Braided jute has the structural strength to hold a potted plant securely while developing a natural patina that improves with age and use.

How to Use It

• Indoor plants — hang from a ceiling hook or curtain rod; fits standard 5–7” (13–18cm) nursery pots and the Naiya Jute Basket S (7” ø) and M (8” ø)
• Living room — a trailing plant at window height adds vertical dimension to a neutral interior without taking up floor or shelf space
• Bedroom or bathroom — air plants, succulents, or small trailing plants in a corner or by a window
• Set of 2 — hung at different heights, they create a layered botanical display that works as a standalone interior feature
